First of all we want to state that Max is a great bass player and a real nice person. Unfortunately, he couldn’t handle the life on the road all that well. We noticed how he struggled through the last tour we did. He really loves the actual moment on stage, but everything else around that comes with the life on the road was just a great deal of pain for him. So both AEON and Max agreed that this way of life wasn’t exactly made for him. Being on tour in a not so known death metal band like AEON often means really tough conditions and bad economy. We totally understand that not everyone can put up with this way of life. There are no hard feelings from any of the parts. We would like to thank Max for the time with the band and we wish him all the best with his future endeavors. Take care bro.

When one leaves, a new one has to come… and there is no difference in this case. Our new bass player is a great, well experienced musician who is really into death metal. We think that this guy is absolutely perfect for the spot. So let’s rise the horns high and welcome our new bass player, Victor Brandt (TOTALT JÄVLA MÖRKER, former SATYRICON touring bassist) to AEON. We are looking forward to all the great death metal madness we got ahead of us with our new member.

Aeon will play at this kickass festival Rockweekend in Kilafors / Sweden. I think that this festival has the best metalband line-up for the year in Sweden. So if you are planning to visit a festival here this year, then Rockweekend is the right choice. We are now back home again after a trouble-filled but still successful European tour. We would like to thank Hate Eternal, Misery Index, S.Y.N.T, our tour manager Tomas Mladek, Avocado Booking and not least… all of you crazy people who came to our show, we had a great time thanks to you.

We will now enter full writing-mode and create the remaining songs for our upcoming album.

We where forced to cancel our show 2009-01-25 in Nantes / France. The reason for this was once again that our tourbuss broke down. We are today going to get tourbuss nr 4 for this tour and its now provided by another company. We are sorry for this short notice cancelation, but the problem was once again totally out of our control.

We where forced to cancel our show 2009-01-11 in Linköping / Sweden. The reason for this was that our tourbuss broke down and we where stucked in Kolding / Denmark. We are sorry for this short notice cancelation, but the problem was totally out of our control.

The show 12.01.2009 Germany / Kassel has been cancelled due to venue getting a new owner and forcing the promotor to cancel. There has also been a venue change for the show in France / Paris 26.01.2009. The new venue is Nouveau Casino.

We are really excited to announce that Aeon are now endorsed by Schecter Guitars. So from now on Daniel, Zeb and Max will exclusively be playing on Schecter guitars and basses.

As for the weapon of choice, Daniel has chosen to go with a Loomis-7 as his primary guitar and will be using his previous Schecter C-7 Hellraiser as backup. Zeb has chosen to go with C-7 Hellraiser’s and Max has chosen the Damien-5 bass.

We decided to change Content Management System for our website and that forced us to re-design the whole site since our previous design was to hard to convert to a WordPress theme (Our new content management system).
